Seasonal Employers Premier HR Association    
In 2007 the Washington Farm Labor Association was formed as a non-profit 501(c)(6). In 2015, by the direction of its board of directors, changing the name to simply "wafla" meaning "Seasonal & Ag employers premier HR association" (all lowercase and no longer an acronym). This name change was made as membership grew to encompass the Pacific Northwest, not just Washington state. Dan Fazio, an experienced labor and employment attorney, directs a staff of HR professionals with experience serving seasonal employers.
