What We Grow -- Evergreen trees have leaves in all four seasons and are, consequently, always green. Flowering and ornamental trees are grown for decorative purposes and can add texture, color and even scent to a landscape design. Shade trees are typically grown specifically for their shade. They are effective in reducing the energy used in cooling homes and offices.
