Our Story
Founded in 2018, Heritage Mulch began with a simple but powerful dream: to make high-quality mulch more accessible to retail landscaping yards and wholesale customers across the region. From our home base in Norlina, North Carolina, we've grown into a trusted wholesale mulch manufacturing facility specializing in designer color mulches and premium shredded products. At Heritage Mulch, we take pride in the quality and sustainability of our products. We use 100% local wood sourced directly from nearby logging sites, ensuring that every piece of mulch is not only top-tier but also supports our local economy and minimizes our environmental footprint. By knowing exactly where our wood comes from—right down to the specific logging site—we can maintain complete control over the quality and integrity of our materials. This transparency allows us to provide mulch that’s both beautiful and environmentally responsible, all while supporting sustainable forestry practices in our region.
